Supporting Customers Across a Broad Range of Industries
We offer a broad lineup of products, including ice makers, refrigerators and freezers, dishwashers, and drink dispensers. Backed by comprehensive maintenance and repair services, we provide total support for food and beverage operations. Our core products hold the top domestic market share,* with our fully automatic ice makers achieving this distinction as a single brand. Across a diverse range of sectors, from restaurants and supermarkets to medical facilities and accommodation establishments, we contribute to food preservation and sanitation.
Ice Makers
Hoshizaki’s Flagship Product: No. 1 Share in Japan
In 1964, Hoshizaki developed Japan's first fully automatic ice maker, laying the foundation for our company. In 2024, we launched a series of ice makers in the domestic market using natural refrigerants, and we are progressively expanding this lineup. As our Group's core product, these machines are deployed globally, offering high ice-making capacity, durability, and user-friendliness alongside superior energy-saving performance. Hoshizaki Ice is now an essential part of daily operations in restaurants, distribution centers, and medical/research facilities across the globe.

*Calculation Basis: Domestic market share (by unit) is calculated by Hoshizaki based on the total number of domestic shipments per fiscal year (April–March) according to the voluntary statistics of the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA), using Hoshizaki's reported shipment figures as the numerator.

Diverse Ice Shapes to Meet Market Needs
From beautiful, slow-melting Cube Ice to various other formats, we provide the perfect ice for every application.
*1. Closed Cell System: Water is sprayed into a freezing chamber cooled to -25°C. Once the ice is formed, hot gas is used to release it, allowing it to drop into the storage bin by its own weight.
*2. Auger System: Ice grows on the inner wall of a water-filled refrigerated cylinder. A rotating auger with a spiral blade scrapes the ice upward, where it is compressed inside a fixed blade and then broken into pieces before being discharged into the storage bin. Because ice is produced continuously, no defrost cycle is required, eliminating losses in both heat and time. Operating costs are also approximately 65% of those of the conventional Closed Cell System.
A Broad Lineup for Any Environment
Our extensive range covers everything from compact 20–25 kg models for small shops to 1,000–1,200 kg high-capacity units for large facilities.
Refrigeration
Hoshizaki: Pioneering Industry-Leading Energy Efficiency
Since launching our first refrigeration line in 1972, built upon the advanced cooling technology perfected in our ice makers, Hoshizaki has consistently led the market in innovation. In 2005, we introduced the industry's first inverter-controlled commercial refrigerator.* We have continued this commitment by launching our natural refrigerant series in the domestic market in 2022 and completing a full lineup by 2024, reflecting our ongoing commitment to providing energy-efficient, environmentally responsible products.

Decades of Know-How, Designed for Daily Use
Our design philosophy is rooted in decades of R&D and a deep understanding of kitchen workflows. From the status display panel and Raku-Eco filter to the redesigned easy-grip handles and materials chosen for rapid cleaning, every detail is engineered to support your kitchen operations— from cooling performance and environmental responsibility to the ease of daily use.
Status Display Panel
Stay informed at a glance. Our clear display panels provide real-time updates on internal temperatures and equipment status, including indicators such as Defrosting or Inspection Due.
The Raku-Eco Filter: Maintenance Made Simple
The Raku-Eco Filter is a redesigned condenser filter that slides out from the front of the unit — no need to open the front panel. Accessible for staff of any height, it transforms what used to be a cumbersome task into a quick, effortless part of daily cleaning.
Dishwashers
Powerful Cleaning, Extensive Lineup, Built for Kitchen Efficiency
Hoshizaki first developed a commercial dishwasher in 1973. However, perhaps because it was too far ahead of its time, sales struggled, and production was temporarily halted. With the rapid growth of the food service industry, production resumed in 1981. Since then, our dishwashers have significantly contributed to operational efficiency and labor cost savings, steadily gaining market share.
Our lineup is extensive, ranging from undercounter types for small shops to conveyor types for large-scale facilities like school cafeterias. In addition to high washing performance, Hoshizaki incorporates unique innovations for ease of use and maintenance. We are committed to developing environmentally friendly products that meet the evolving needs of the modern era.

Top-Class Energy Efficiency
Proven Washing Performance
Extensive Model Lineup
Promoting Kitchen Eco-Friendliness by Rinsing with Just 1.8 Liters of Water
For a dishwasher, we believe eco-friendliness means reducing direct environmental impact — such as wastewater volume — in addition to saving energy. This philosophy drives the development of our energy-efficient commercial dishwashers.
High-Flow & High-Pressure: Reliable, Powerful Pumps
Our systems use a high volume of water for a thorough wash and high pressure for an efficient rinse. This reliable washing power is supported by two types of independently developed pumps.
From Two Nozzles to One: Improved Usability and Easier Maintenance
We have evolved from a two-nozzle system to a single integrated nozzle. While maintaining powerful washing performance, this change has significantly improved ease of use and maintenance.
Dispensers
Enhancing and Streamlining Food & Beverage Services

Our extensive lineup includes cubelet ice dispensers that utilize Hoshizaki's ice-making technology, as well as draft beer dispensers that allow anyone to serve great-tasting beer with ease.

Cook Everio Steam Convection Oven
Steam convection ovens were once used primarily in large-scale food preparation environments, but Hoshizaki developed the Cook Everio series specifically for small businesses with a focus on efficiency and food quality. This made steam convection ovens accessible to restaurants and other operators that had previously been unable to adopt them due to size or cost limitations. Hoshizaki also launched a dedicated support website featuring regularly updated recipes and usage examples, further enhancing customer support beyond the hardware itself.

Water Electrolyzers
Hoshizaki water electrolyzers use tap water to generate electrolyzed water optimized for applications such as food sterilization and cleaning. Both direct-output models and tank distribution systems are available. In recent years, demand has grown rapidly due to increased focus on food safety and hygiene management. Hoshizaki also introduced WOX, a strongly acidic electrolyzed water model specialized for food sterilization, enabling the company to address increasingly specialized customer needs.
