Each domestic Group company, including Hoshizaki Corporation (hereinafter referred to individually as a ”Domestic Group Company ” or collectively as the “Domestic Group”; please refer to Section 5 below regarding Domestic Group Companies), aims to provide customers with peace of mind and earn their trust through products, sales, and service activities. Recognizing the protection of personal information and respect for privacy as important management responsibilities, the Domestic Group has established the following Privacy Policy and strives to ensure the proper handling of personal information.

  1. Definition of Personal Information
    Personal information refers to information relating to an individual that can identify a specific individual through the following information.
    (1) Information that can identify a specific individual through name, date of birth, address, telephone number, etc.

    Each Domestic Group Company appoints a person responsible for personal information protection management and implements necessary and appropriate measures for the secure management of personal information. These measures include establishing and improving systems to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, conducting employee education and awareness activities, controlling entry and exit to areas handling personal information, restricting access to personal information, and implementing information security measures such as antivirus software.
  3. Acquisition and Use of Personal Information
    Domestic Group Companies may outsource the handling of personal information to third parties within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use described in Section 3 above. Even in such cases, each company will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over contractors to ensure the secure management of the personal information provided.
  4. Joint Use of Personal Information
    Domestic Group Companies may jointly use personal information acquired by each company (all items) with domestic and overseas Group companies. The purposes of use are limited to those stated in Section 3 above. The company that acquired the relevant personal information will be responsible for managing information related to joint use.   5. Outsourcing Related to Personal Information Management
    Domestic Group Companies may outsource the handling of personal information to third parties within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use described in Section 3 above. Even in such cases, each company will exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over contractors to ensure the secure management of the personal information provided.
  6. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
    Domestic Group Companies will not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the individual, except where permitted by laws and regulations.
  7. Use of Cookies
    Domestic Group Companies' websites may use cookies. Cookies are data components that websites can send to users’ browsers and may be stored on the system being used. Users can configure their browsers to notify them when cookies are received and choose whether to accept cookies. If cookies are not accepted, some information or services may not be available.
  8. Use of Log Information
    When customers use the Domestic Group Companies' websites, access log information, including IP addresses used by customers, is recorded. This information is used to understand website usage conditions and is not used to identify individual users except on pages requiring user authentication.
  9. Use of Analytics Tools
    Domestic Group Companies' websites may use Google Analytics, a web analytics tool provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data.     Domestic Group Companies comply with laws, regulations, and other standards concerning the protection of personal information.

    Domestic Group Companies continuously review and strive to improve this Privacy Policy to ensure that customers’ personal information is appropriately managed and operated.
  12. Requests for Disclosure of Personal Information, etc.
    If an individual wishes to confirm, disclose, correct, add, delete, suspend use of, erase, stop third-party provision of, or disclose records of third-party provision regarding personal information, Domestic Group Companies will promptly respond in accordance with laws and regulations upon submission of documents specified by the Domestic Group. Please contact the inquiry office listed in Section 13 below regarding methods for obtaining the required documents. When requesting disclosure, individuals are asked to provide documents verifying their identity, such as a driver’s license. In addition, a fee of 800 yen (including tax) will be charged per disclosure request.

This website (hereinafter referred to as the Site) is operated by the Hoshizaki Group (hereinafter referred to as the Company).
Customers may use the Site only after reading and agreeing to these Terms of Use.
