Proposal-Based Sales Built on a Customer-First Approach

Hoshizaki’s sales division works in direct coordination with its manufacturing division and operates in close cooperation with sales companies throughout Japan. In addition to providing product information, we have established a support system that assists customers from every angle, including marketing information related to store development and after-sales maintenance following product installation.
The motto guiding our sales activities is putting customers first. Rather than simply selling products, we act as trusted advisors who always stand in the customer’s position and support problem-solving. We place the highest value on daily communication and carefully listen to each customer’s voice to propose optimal plans tailored to on-site conditions while providing total support for creating comfortable and efficient environments.
We also actively engage in market research and information analysis. Valuable information received from customers is quickly fed back to the manufacturing division and utilized in product development and product improvements. Our role does not end with making a sale. We connect every relationship to the creation of new value. This is the foundation of Hoshizaki’s sales system.

Community-Based Account Responsibility Supporting Customers from a Long-Term Perspective

Hoshizaki has introduced a district-based account responsibility system for both sales and service activities. Dedicated regional sales and service staff provide continuous support, enabling them to develop a deep understanding of each customer’s situation and provide long-term support.
Sales and service teams constantly share information and work together as a unified team.
When new requests are received during repair visits, service staff promptly coordinate with sales representatives. Likewise, when maintenance consultations arise during sales visits, the information is immediately shared with service staff. By leveraging each team’s expertise and working closely together, we create synergistic effects that cannot be achieved independently.
Even in the event of unexpected trouble, the regional account system and close coordination between sales and service teams enable prompt and accurate responses. This structure supports the peace of mind and trust unique to Hoshizaki.

Service, Support & Maintenance

Service, support, and maintenance are among the most important functions within the Hoshizaki Group.
Commercial kitchen equipment operates daily in harsh environments, and breakdowns or malfunctions can significantly impact customers’ business operations. For this reason, routine maintenance and understanding equipment conditions are essential.
At sales offices nationwide, Hoshizaki thoroughly trains service staff and has introduced its own certification and technical skills system. Through specialized training, staff acquire advanced technical expertise and are equipped to support not only Hoshizaki products but also commercial kitchen equipment made by other manufacturers. Through kitchen equipment diagnostics, regular inspections, and maintenance under maintenance contracts, we support customers in keeping equipment in optimal condition at all times.
Preventing interruptions to the operation of kitchen equipment directly tied to customers’ businesses is our mission.

Kitchen Equipment Diagnostics

Because commercial kitchen equipment operates under harsh conditions, performance deterioration over time is unavoidable. Increased power consumption and deterioration of components can also affect food safety and quality. To help prevent such situations, we conduct diagnostics on kitchen equipment at stores and facilities and clearly explain the current condition of the kitchen based on diagnostic reports.

Maintenance Contracts

Just as the human body ages, machinery also deteriorates over time. Left unattended, operating efficiency declines. Maintenance contracts are designed to maintain equipment in optimal condition year after year through inspections and maintenance such as replacement of consumable parts and condenser cleaning. Even in the unlikely event of a breakdown, parts costs and other charges will not be billed, with some exceptions.

Kitchen Design

Approximately 150 professional kitchen designers across 15 design departments handle more than 16,000 new projects annually, turning customers’ ideas into reality. We support a wide range of facilities, including restaurants, cafés, hotels, employee cafeterias, hospital food service facilities, and sixth-industry businesses. We provide consistent support from consultation through construction, helping resolve concerns related to installation layouts, workflow efficiency, and hygiene.
